Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the AAFP Foundation continues to provide a minimum of 250 Family Medicine Leads (FM Leads) Scholarships for residents and medical students to attend AAFP FUTURE July 31—Aug. 2, 2025 in Kansas City, MO. This provides the opportunity to experience and explore family medicine through educational programming and procedural workshops, leadership opportunities, and interaction and networking with family physicians and peers from across the country.
The Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) Leaders Scholarship is open to current or incoming FMIG, ACOFP Student Chapter, or other Student Primary Care Interest Group leaders. You must hold an FMIG/SIG leadership position in the 2025–26 academic year to apply.
Students who wish to apply for this award must complete an online application (including contact information for your FMIG/SIG faculty advisor) that includes answers to the following questions:

You must be a medical student during the 2025–26 academic year to apply. You are not eligible if you will graduate before July 1, 2025.
